The company's finances lived in Excel files and paper ledgers. Foreign-currency payments, post-dated checks and per-site costs were each tracked separately, and working out the true cost of a single site took days.
Nettutar is where a construction company records every movement of money. Each transaction is linked to a category tree (head office, finance, construction sites) and to a project, so at any moment you can see what each site has spent on what and how much it has received in progress payments. The app was rewritten from scratch.

Cash and bank transactions, current accounts and checks/promissory notes share one data model. Every transaction is stamped with that day's Central Bank exchange rate, so amounts are tracked in TL, dollars and euros side by side. The income-expense report cross-tabulates the category tree with site tags; overdue checks are processed every night and recurring current-account entries at the start of every month, automatically.
Cash accounts, banks, the income-expense tree, site tags and current account cards are set up.
Cash and bank transactions are entered against a category and a site; the current exchange rate is recorded with them.
Balances for companies and individuals update automatically with every transaction.
Checks received and issued are tracked by due date; overdue ones are flagged.
Income and expenses are reported by category × site and exported.
TL, USD and EUR accounts with transfers between them. Rates are pulled from the Central Bank every hour, and each transaction records the rate at that moment.
Income and expenses laid out on the category tree and cross-tabulated with site tags; every node expands and collapses, and the report can be exported.
Checks received and issued, with due date, bank and status; overdue ones are flagged automatically every night.
Images were captured with anonymized data; personal and company names were changed and amounts were scaled.
